Najib seeks to dismiss Mareva injunction over asset freeze

FORMER prime minister Najib Razak has filed an application to set aside the Mareva injunction obtained by 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) and one of its subsidiaries to stop him from disposing of or reducing the value of any of his assets in Malaysia up to US$681 million (RM2.85 billion).

Najib, 69, filed the application through his solicitors Messrs Shafee & Co last Friday.
