Authorities nab 16 illegal Myanmar immigrants entering country via lorry

THE 8th Battalion of the General Operations Force (PGA8) arrested two “tekong darat” (human trafficking agents) and 16 Myanmar illegal immigrants after stopping a lorry in Kg Batu Karang in Pasir Mas on Sunday.

PGA8 commanding officer Mat Shukor Yusof said the illegal immigrants, who were detained in the 6pm incident, comprised two women and 14 men aged between 20 and 40.

  • High time for the government to act tough on this PATI who dares to intrude illegally. Maybe a severe punishment to be given to the PATI and the Middle person who brought them in.
