  • Obviously Azam has the tacit support of senior government leaders including probably Sabri. No wonder he can thumb his nose at everyone with such contempt.

  • Its a joke that MACC investigates its boss when ALL the deputies have come out in support of him even before the investigation. I strongly suspect that Azam is holding the secret to many powerful people and organisations on their illegal and corrupt practices and that's why the lack of firm action. Very interesting to see how they will try to make this issue go away and if this issue cannot go away, whom Azam will drag down together with himself. Maybe that's why he is so unreasonably obstinate and even confident.

  • "Lim added that while Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob had said MACC has started its investigation into Azams case, there was a thunderous silence as to who in MACC is heading the probe."

Everyone else in the MACC is BELOW THE RANK OF CHIEF COMMISSIONER. So none can investigate thier own head. Besides that, where is the moral authority of the MACC to investigate the MACC?

The system of self-investigation is a system of self-preservation, not of discovering the truth and taking "cleaning-up" action.
