Malacca fully recovers from floods, closes all relief centres

MALACCA’S flood situation has fully recovered, following the closure of the last temporary relief centre at SK Seri Mendapat in Jasin at 7pm today.

State Civil Defence Force director Cuthbert John Martin said before its closure, the centre housed 13 evacuees from three flood-affected families in Kampung Lanchang.

“All the victims have been allowed to return home after floodwaters receded in the area.”
