A TOTAL of 2.62 million people or 83.1% of the adolescent population in the country have completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday.

Based on the Health Ministry’s CovidNow portal, 2.77 million or 87.9% of the adolescents in Malaysia have received at least the first dose.

For the adult population, a total of 22.46 million people, or 95.9%, have completed the vaccination, while close to 23 million or 98% have received at least the first dose.

A total of 113,741 doses of the vaccine were dispensed yesterday, with 4,929 as first doses, 6,376 second doses and 102,436 booster shots.

To date, 52.67 million doses of the vaccine have been administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme. – Bernama, November 27, 2021.
