THERE is no need to appoint Perikatan Nasional assemblymen to the Malacca government, Barisan Nasional deputy chairman Mohamad Hasan said.

He told Utusan Malaysia that the Umno-led coalition had secured a comfortable two-thirds majority in the 28-seat state assembly.
