95.6% of Malaysia’s adult population fully vaccinated

A TOTAL of 95.6% (22,379,626 individuals) of the adult population in Malaysia have completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday, according to the CovidNow website.

A total of 97.8% (22,906,258 individuals) of the group have received at least one vaccine dose.

Of the adolescent population aged 12 to 17, 82.1% (2,584,612 individuals) are fully vaccinated, while 87.4% (2,751,092 individuals) have received at least one vaccine dose.

As many as 105,103 doses were administered yesterday, involving 81,706 booster shots, 16,848 second doses and 6,549 first doses.

The update brings the total number of vaccines dispensed under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 51,842,386.

The total number of booster shots dispensed is now 1,407,762. – Bernama, November 20, 2021.
