Dewan Rakyat to discuss Undi18 today

PARLIAMENT will today discuss the matter of allowing 18-year-olds to vote under a law known as Undi18. 

According to the Order Paper, the matter will be raised during the oral question-and-answer session by Gobind Singh Deo (Puchong-PH) who will pose the question to the prime minister.

Also during the oral question-and-answer session, Zakaria Mohd Edris (Libaran-Bersatu) is scheduled to ask the science, technology and innovation minister to disclose the cost of the immunisation programme.

Cha Kee Chin (Rasah-PH), during the ministers’ question time, will ask the domestic trade and consumer affairs minister whether the price of Covid-19 self-test kits would be reduced from the current RM19.90 ceiling price.

Today’s Dewan Rakyat sitting will also resume the debate on the motion of thanks for the royal address.

The fourth session of the 14th Parliament is the first under the government led by Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
