Sabah Council of Churches urges Putrajaya to uphold guarantee on religious freedom

THE Sabah Council of Churches today reminded all members of the federal government that it is their “sacred duty” to uphold the historical guarantee on the freedom of religion in Malaysia.

Jerry Dusing, president of the council, said the guarantee of religious freedom is reflected in the Federal Constitution and enshrined in the Keningau Batu Sumpah.
