Guan Eng insists govt extend loan moratorium to SMEs

SMALL and medium enterprises (SMEs) should also be given a zero interest loan moratorium by banks similar to that offered to the bottom 50% of Malaysians, former finance minister Lim Guan Eng said.

The DAP secretary-general welcomed the Finance Ministry’s announcement yesterday that it had asked banks to offer the waiver to the bottom 50% of Malaysians from October to December.
