We are better than many countries, says minister

Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak says what happens in another part of the world affects Malaysia and as such changing the government will not make a difference. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 21, 2018.

MALAYSIA is riding out the crisis and is doing better than many other countries, said Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak.

He said the world is in crisis and Malaysia is a member of a global community where changing the government is not a simple solution to the crisis.

“Pakatan Harapan is telling Malaysians that Malaysia, too, is facing a political and economic crisis and the only way out is to change the government or replace the prime minister,”  he said in his blog sskeruak.blogspot.my, today.

Citing the United States and United Kingdom, he said both are examples of western democracies, one a republic system of government and the other a Westminster-type constitutional monarchy, which are going through an economic and political crisis.

Salleh, who is also Umno treasurer, said both governments are facing a crisis of confidence and are struggling to remain relevant.

Changing the government in US and UK did not end the crisis but in fact, it has got worse.

“What happens in another part of the world affects Malaysia, which means it is not a simple solution of changing the governments or the prime minister,” he said. – Bernama, January 21, 2018.

  • I give my child a good caning instead when he defends himself by saying there are other children who score worse than him. If you are sincerely wanting to be good, then compare yourself with good examples, why with the bad ones?

  • We will be worse off yet should we continue with this umno administration. More leakages and abuses. The first step on our road to recovery is to have a new government under Pakatan. Then reform our public institutions to instill the trust that is no longer there. Next account for all the abuses of the past administrations and the list goes on and on. But you, Salleh will not understand this as you are part of the problems that needed clearing up

  • How did you steal yourself in to be a Minister. For f@#k sake shut up !!!. You do not even know what is going aound th world. Do not bother to compare Europe and US with us. Lets take the countries closer to home or better still SEA. Lets see in terms of economic developement and export statuts of Cambodia, Vietnam , Thailand , Phillipines , Indonesia and we can forget about Singapore ( as we are only smelling the trail end of the smelly farts that Singapore discarded ). Do we need to go in details by statistics or simple percentage of growth in last year. Do you need me to educate you in details or just maybe could your mental faculty comprehend just a simple analogy of comparison. Just look at the foreign currency exchange rates within all these countries that I have mentioned. You will noticed that the range in movement of the rates are within the control curve even and always in tandem when US greenbacks are hyper active in spiking tendency. Look at Malaysia ringgit where it has fallen hughly since MO1 took on the premiership and now after almost two terms an insignificant recovery everyone especially the UmnoBN goons Ministers are in cloud nine and shouting loud and blur on the capability of our MO1 in the ability to turn it around. Even to the extend a somewhat ridiculous religious tone decree that he is blessed by his pilgrimage and now is super master genious in economy . What a farce as we shall know the truth later on how much of losses further in the forex to prop the ringgit to stay comfortable for the GE14. Only to create a false feel good factor. Did not see much of currencies variances in other countries and infact most of SEA countries are not in favour of exchanging Malaysian Ringgit and will only do so at a much lower rates. So !!!! is our country now on recovery and much better off than the others in our neighbourhood or you are just one useless jack ass spewing fake news to impress your boss in being an ever ready body shield for all his lies.
