GRAPHIC artist and activist Fahmi Reza has been summoned by police again over a new piece of satirical artwork, this time aimed at Islamist party PAS.
He said on Twitter that he will be called in for an investigation tomorrow.
“You won’t believe it, police have opened a new investigation paper on me.
“This time, it is for a satirical graphic poster that is related to PAS.
“I’ve been called for an investigation tomorrow. We will meet tomorrow, PDRM,” he said on Twitter.
Fahmi added that this is the seventh time he has been called up for investigations into his political satire-related graphics.
Last month, he was investigated over a poster uploaded on Facebook and Twitter depicting Perak Menteri Besar Saarani Mohamad.
In April, he was released on police bail after being held overnight for investigation over a playlist of songs that he had compiled on the Spotify ppp, with the title “This is dengki ke?”, which allegedly insulted the Raja Permaisuri Agong.
Fahmi was probed under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act 1948 and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998. – July 27, 2021.
