A TOTAL of 32 new Covid-19 clusters were detected as of noon today, with 20 of them linked to workplaces, said Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The director-general of health said that besides the workplace clusters, seven clusters were traced among communities, two at educational institutions registered with the Education Ministry and two among high-risk groups.
Overall, a total of 11 clusters were traced in the Klang Valley today, where Selangor accounted for four workplace clusters and one educational cluster, while Kuala Lumpur accounted for four workplace clusters, one educational cluster and a high-risk group cluster.
Meanwhile, Johor reported three workplace and community clusters each, making it a total of six clusters in the state, which reported the third most daily Covid-19 cases as of noon today.

Noor Hisham said that these clusters add up to bring the number of active clusters to 946 from 3,361 clusters recorded in the country.
