EIGHTEEN Covid-19 clusters were detected in the past 24 hours with 13 linked to workplaces, Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said today.
The health director-general said a total of 920 clusters are currently active after the latest additions today.
Of the 13 workplace clusters, four were traced in Selangor, three in Johor, two in Kuala Lumpur and one each in Kelantan, Malacca, Negri Sembilan and Terengganu.
Noor Hisham also said two community transmissions, two high-risk groups and one detention centre cluster were also reported in the past 24 hours.
The 18 new clusters are:

2. Industry Persiaran Subang in Petaling, Klang and Hulu Langat, Selangor – 107 cases
3. Alam Jaya Lima in Kuala Selangor, Selangor – 33 cases
4. Industry Kenanga Satu in Hulu Selangor and Hulu Langat, Selangor – 20 cases
5. Simpang Jeram in Muar, Johor – 20 cases
6. Jalan Sri Pelangi in Johor Baru, Johor – 17 cases
7. Jalan Istimewa Dua in Johor Baru and Kota Tinggi, Johor – 14 cases
8. Jalan Kia Peng construction site in Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur – 51 cases
9. Jalan Berhala Merah in Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur – 12 cases
10. Jalan Stadium in Kota Baaru, Kelantan – eight cases
11 Industry Technology Cheng 30 in Central Malacca and Alor Gajah, Malacca–- 68 cases
12. Jalan Waterfront in Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan – 42 cases
13. Pasar Besar Dungun in Dungun, Terengganu – 51 cases

18. DTI Bidor in Batang Padang, Hilir Perak, Kerian and Manjung, Perak – 48 cases (detention centre)
Noor Hisham said today’s additions brought the number of total clusters in the country to 3,299. He also said 2,379 clusters have ended. – July 20, 2021.
