HEALTH authorities have identified 27 new Covid-19 clusters as of noon today, taking the number of active clusters in the country to 887, said Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The director-general of health said there were 13 clusters linked to community transmissions, 12 found at workplaces, one linked to high-risk group and one linked to the education sector.
From the 13 community clusters, two each were traced in Kelantan, Pahang, Selangor, Johor and Perak, while one each was detected in Sabah, Sarawak and Putrajaya.
As for the workplace clusters, four were traced in Selangor, three each in Kuala Lumpur and Negri Sembilan and two were detected in Pahang.
The sole high-risk cluster was detected in Johor, while the only education sector cluster was spread across Putrajaya and Selangor.

Noor Hisham said the additional clusters today bring the total number of groupings in the country to 2,812.
