Ex-Keppel lawyer ‘drafted Brazilian bribe contracts’

A FORMER lawyer at Singapore oil rig builder Keppel Offshore & Marine, which is at the centre of a massive corruption case in Brazil, admitted drafting contracts to pay bribes to Petrobras officials.

Jeffery Shiu Chow, 59, said he drafted the contracts and discussed “the economic terms” with senior Keppel officials on the amounts to be paid to Brazilian officials, reports the Straits Times today.
