Lorry with large logs has valid document


The Pahang Forestry Department says that a lorry seen carrying huge logs on the East Coast Expressway has a valid transfer pass from the Terengganu Forestry Department. – Pic from Facebook, May 24, 2021.

THE lorry spotted carrying huge pieces of logs, photos of which were widely shared on social media yesterday, has a valid document to do so, according to the Pahang Forestry Department (JPNP).

In a statement released today, the department said it had stopped the lorry at the Rawang Rest and Service Area (R&R) (west-bound) for inspection.

  • Lets put it the other way around. Perhaps it was legal but highly immoral to cut a tree as old as that. But morals are in short supply these days.
