Penang ‘yes’ to Muda River Basin Authority proposal

THE Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP) fully supports the Environment and Water Ministry’s (Kasa) proposal to set up a Muda River Basin Authority (MRBA).

Its chief executive officer, Jaseni Maidinsa, said this is in line with Kasa secretary-general Zaini Ujang’s statement on April 30 that the formation of MRBA will resolve the dispute between Kedah and Penang over the Sungai Muda water resources.
