MALAYSIA Airlines is extending its ticket rebooking dates, following the extension of the movement control order (MCO)

In a statement, the national carrier said it is offering eligible passengers longer ticket validity with a one-time fare difference and service fee waiver due to domestic travel restrictions as a result of the interstate travel ban.

It said prolonged border closure of other countries also factored in the decision.

Eligible passengers can now rebook their tickets on or before December 31 for travel to be completed by June 2022.

Previously, it had offered passengers the flexibility to reschedule their flights on or before June 30 for travel to be completed by December 31.

The airline recommended that passengers planning to make advance bookings for future travel to opt for its Economy Flex tickets, which allowes unlimited date changes with no additional charge, free refunds, priority check-in and boardind, and a 35kg check-in baggage allowance. – April 17, 2021.
