New deputy minister to be sworn in tomorrow


A new deputy minister for the federal territories will be sworn in at Istana Negara tomorrow. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 15, 2021.

SABAH STAR secretary-general Guandee Kohoi will be sworn in tomorrow as deputy tourism, arts and culture minister.

According to Bernama, the swearing-in ceremony will be held at Istana Negara at 10.30am.

The new appointment follows Dr Jeffrey Kitingan’s resignation from the same post after the Sabah elections last September.

The Sabah STAR president, who won the Tambunan seat, was appointed the state’s deputy chief minister II after Gabungan Rakyat Sabah won the polls. – April 15, 2021.
