CELCOM Axiata Bhd and Digi.com Bhd are all set to merge their operations in Malaysia to establish the biggest mobile service provider in the country, The Edge said in a report quoting sources.

The merger of operations will be different from the 2019 mega-merger plan between the parent company of both telco groups – Axiata Bhd and Digi.Com’s Norwegian parent Telenor ASA – when the two tried to merge their operations in Asia.
