Court calls for contempt proceedings against Tommy Thomas

THE Kuala Lumpur High Court today suggested that the prosecution initiate contempt proceedings against Tommy Thomas for sub judice, during the trial of a widow accused of murdering her husband, the New Straits Times reported.

Muhammad Shafee Abdullah, the defence lawyer in the case of Samirah Muzaffar, was the latest to join the line of people calling for the former attorney-general’s head over allegations in his memoir which was released earlier this week.
