Last year a catastrophe for airlines, says aviation group

INTERNATIONAL air passenger traffic recorded a decline of 75.6% last year year, said the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

It said the global passenger traffic results for last year showed the sharpest decline in history for revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs), which fell by 65.9% compared with 2019.
