KL Pakatan MPs urge DBKL to reopen parks, playgrounds

KUALA Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) must reconsider its decision to close all public parks and playgrounds under its jurisdiction from today until further notice, said Pakatan Harapan (PH) lawmakers from the capital city.

Nine PH MPs from KL said the decision by DBKL was inconsistent with Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s message during the announcement of a two-week movement-control order that members of the public were allowed to exercise during the lockdown, but with strict observance of the standard operating procedure (SOP).
