THE proposed merger between Khazanah Nasional-owned UEM Sunrise Bhd and Eco World Development Group Bhd has fallen through after the latter’s board decided to not pursue it. 

Property developer EcoWorld in a statement to Bursa Malaysia today said its board has decided not to pursue the proposed merger following a careful evaluation of the move.
