Penang CM gets new official car worth RM458,000

PENANG Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow has been given a new official car, a Mercedes S560e, to replace the previous Mercedes S300L bought in 2013.

The office of the Penang state secretary said the purchase of the car was approved by the state executive council meeting (MMK) on November 29, 2019.

It said the new car was bought on December 31, 2020 for RM458,122.78, after a discount of RM127,765.22.

“The Mercedes S560e is to replace the previous official car, a Mercedes S300L, bought in 2013 for RM298,263.75,” it said in a statement today. – Bernama, January 7, 2021.
