Pahang amends state constitution to allow 5 unelected reps

THE Pahang assembly today passed a motion to amend the state constitution to allow the appointment of five unelected assemblymen.

The motion which was brought forward by Menteri Besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail was passed by majority vote without the presence of opposition assemblymen, who walked out of the hall in protest.

  • Why stop there? Why dont you dispense with elections altogether? You know you want to. A dictatorship is so much better for the politicians. Nobody can criticize or ask awkward questions about where the taxpayers money is going.

  • Bodoh and clueless I suppose so have to look for shortcuts so they can continue to feed their friends and cronies to stay in power. And the people of Pahang deserve it because they keep voting for these thieves and calling them Bossku!
