Labuan gets RM760,000 to upgrade tourism infrastructure


Labuan has received a RM760,000 allocation from the government, which will be used to maintain, refurbish and repair tourism infrastructure and facilities. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, November 17, 2020.

LABUAN has received an allocation of RM760,000 from the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry for maintenance, refurbishment and repair of tourism infrastructure and facilities.

Labuan Corporation chief executive officer Dr Fary Akmal Osman said RM120,000 of the sum would be spent on small development projects, including replacement of the five-year-old tourism billboards and a mural painting at the Labuan Airport.
