Direct negotiations, political influence responsible for VEP, RC weaknesses

PARLIAMENT’S Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has found political influence, delays and other weaknesses in the Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) and Road Charge (RC) systems as a result of direct negotiations for the project’s implementation, said PAC chairman Wong Kah Woh.

The bipartisan committee has tabled its report on investigations into the VEP and RC in Parliament today.
