Lockdown on 3 Kudat villages with 14,000 people

ENHANCED movement control orders (EMCO) will be enforced in three areas in Kudat, Sabah, from Friday to November 12 after they recorded a significant increase of Covid-19 cases.

The two-week lockdown will affect 13,884 residents in 2,393 houses, said Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said the three areas are Kg Pengaraban, Kg Tanjung Kapor and Kg Landung Ayang in Kudat district.

“The EMCO will take place from October 30 to November 12.  A total of 2,393 houses will be placed under the lockdown and will affect 13,884 residents,” said Ismail Sabri during his daily press conference today. – October 28, 2020.
