Muhyiddin to reshuffle cabinet in bid to keep Umno, says report

PRIME Minister Muhyiddin Yassin will be reshuffling his cabinet in order to secure Umno’s continued support for his embattled Perikatan Nasional (PN) government, reports Mingguan Malaysia today.

The Bahasa Melayu daily said the reshuffle was Muhyiddin’s “final offer” to Umno to remain in PN.

  • Moo can't be that dumb to realize that this is just the start. He will always be under UMNO thumbs due to his non - existent majorly. He needs a much larger majority to rule comfortably.

    He should consider a unity type govt by inviting suitable politicians from all parties and include more technocrats in the cabinet. When parties are not involve and only 2 or 3 of their MPs, its less contentious.

    When it comes to voting, muhyiddin can rely on level minded parties like DAP, Amanah, GPS, Warisan and even PKR for support if the motion before the House is sound and beneficial. This is the true essence of democracy
