THE elephant capture unit of the Perak Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) has captured a bull elephant, which was striking fear among villagers as well as damaging crops in Kg Plang, Gerik.

Perak Perhilitan in a statement today said the operation to capture the two-tonne elephant started on October 5 before the bull was caught on Monday and transferred to the Terengganu National Park today.
