DR Mahathir Mohamad has accused Anwar Ibrahim of going behind his back to rally support after the jailed politician was pardoned in 2018.

The former prime minister alleged Anwar met with the royalty and other parties to shore up support for himself instead of supporting the Pakatan Harapan administration.

  • OMG... now Tun is resorting to this ANGLE OF DEFENSE. Anwar was quoted to have said he informed Tun of every persons that he met after his release. To cut story short, there was a pact and Tun renegaded on it.No wonder nobody wants to get near to him now.

  • There are obviously better candidates to be PM other than Anwar but a promise is a promise and must be kept.

  • Majority is still majority. 2/222 = 0.9%. In recent Sabah election, for example, N16 Karambunai, majority is only 0.02% of votes, so we should not accept the result? We should then resort back to full monarchy if our constitutional monarchy with its own democracy is not acceptable. PH collapsed due to them only focusing on power grabbing game. There is no doubt that if a new GE is held, the result will prove that PH wis no longer the choice among the majority of rakyat (even during last PRU, was PH really the choice of majority based on the total votes from all seats?). The mandat rakyat mantra is only a political game

  • Those from PH camps supporting KETUM are mypoic and ignorant -- this blaming TDM nonsense is stupid. KETUM only has to show in the Assembly the vote of confidence for him. Oust TMSY and vote for him.

If KETUM is of democractic choice, none can stop him and what concrete proof other
than the Parliament. Agong might be blamed again by various parties if he get involved.
