Plans to revive tourism bearing fruit, says Nancy

PLANS to revive the tourism and cultural sectors through the domestic tourism campaign, which began in June post-movement-control order (MCO), are beginning to show positive developments.

Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Nancy Shukri said efforts to boost domestic tourism would continue to be carried out, such as through the hosting of the Semarak Pelancongan Domestik and Kempen Cuti-cuti Malaysia, to help industry players.

  • As a frequent visitor to KL in the days before COVID, I cannot think of a single attraction in KL that would attract tourists. Its a soulless place where heritage is destroyed rather than preserved.
