MACC hanging on to Kasitah RM100,000 after lodging appeal


RM100,000 belonging to former land and co-operative development minister Kasitah Gaddam and frozen by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) two years ago, has yet to be returned after a stay of execution application.

The prosecution filed the motion against the high court’s dismissal of the MACC’s forfeiture case against Kasitah over funds linked to the 1Malaysian Development Berhad (1MDB).
