Senator wants shariah-compliant uniforms for flight attendants


Local flight stewardesses dressed 'sexily and disrespectfully' will give tourists the wrong impression of Malaysia, the Dewan Rakyat is told today. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, December 11, 2017.

THE government should introduce shariah-compliant uniforms for flight stewardesses of local airline companies so as to portray Malaysia as a Muslim country, said Senator Hanafi Mamat.

He said such a move would not hurt the airline companies.

  • When a so-called senator cannot tell the difference between elegant and smart dressing to sexiness, he should not wear a suit in Parliament and just wear his jubah etc. For that matter, one wonder if brain log is a criteria for getting senatorship.

  • These men only see attires as sexy with sex on their mind, period! Mr Senator then, why only on flights, get the Government and the GLCs to be Shariah compliance too....senators are suppose to breath fresh air and look at diff angle in suggesting improvements. But these guys from Taliban mentality and he just got out of a tempurong.....who recommended him must be of similar mentality! LOL
