MINISTER in the Prime Minister’s Department Rahman Dahlan slammed PKR vice president Rafizi Ramli for accusing him of cronyism today.

“Rafizi kantoi (screwed up) big time. Raslan Dahlan is not my brother. Rafizi has bad intention!” Rahman tweeted this afternoon.

Rafizi had alleged earlier today the Economic Planning Unit (EPU), under Rahman, had awarded a million-ringgit contract without open tender to event management company Pico Integrated Exhibits (M) Sdn Bhd to organise an expo.

The Pandan MP further claimed reliable sources had informed him Raslan, the chief executive officer of Pico, is Rahman’s brother.

The expo in question is Expo Negaraku at Dataran Merdeka. Running from November 15 until Friday, it showcases large-scale infrastructure projects initiated by the government.

“Again, Rafizi has deliberately invented a big lie to defame me, the BN government and (Prime Minister) Najib Razak.

“This proves Rafizi is a compulsive serial liar unafraid of Allah,” said Rahman in a statement.

He said he would instruct his lawyers to take legal action against Rafizi. He also said the Pakatan Harapan leadership should slap a gap order on Rafizi.

In a press conference today, Rafizi said he would show documented evidence Raslan is Rahman’s elder brother and the contract was awarded to Pico without open tender. – December 11, 2017.
