McDonald’s sues former CEO for lying about sexual relationships


Former McDonald’s CEO Steve Easterbrook is reported to have received an estimated US$40 million exit package from the fast-food giant, which now seeks to recover the money and benefits paid to him. – EPA pic, August 10, 2020.

FAST-FOOD giant McDonald’s announced today it is suing former CEO Steve Easterbrook for lying about allegedly inappropriate sexual relationships with employees.

Easterbrook was dismissed in November 2019 over his “poor judgment” in engaging in a consensual relationship with a member of staff in violation of company policy.
