“I cannot estimate when (Rayhan will be repatriated), but the earliest flight to Bangladesh is on August 31,” he told a press conference in Putrajaya today.

Rayhan was arrested in Setapak on July 24 after the Immigration Department sought the public’s assistance to track him down.

In the documentary, he comments on the authorities’ treatment of migrant workers during the movement-control order against Covid-19.

Khairul Dzaimee said Rayhan’s temporary visitor pass has been revoked, and he will be put on a blacklist barring him from entering Malaysia again. – Bernama, August 5, 2020.
