Umno didn’t discuss stand on Perikatan with us, says PAS sec-gen

UMNO president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s statement that the party will not join Perikatan Nasional (PN) as a coalition was not discussed with PAS, Takiyuddin Hassan said.

The PAS secretary-general said the Islamist party still supports the PN government headed by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and will continue to do so until the 15th general election, Astro Awani reports.
