Malaysian MotoGP cancelled due to pandemic

The Sepang International Circuit has hosted the MotoGP race since 1999, attracting more than 100,000 fans during race weekends in the past few editions. –

THE Malaysian MotoGP was today cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was scheduled to be held on October 30 to November 1.

Motorcycling Federation (FIM), International Road-Racing Teams Association and Dorna Sports announced in a joint statement today that apart from the race on the Sepang International Circuit (SIC), the Argentina and Thailand GPs were also cancelled.
