TOMORROW marks the day when many sectors are allowed to resume operations after three months of closure due to the movement-control order (MCO).

Since the recovery MCO was enforced on June 10, the social sector has been reopened in stages, with more relaxed conditions and freedom given to the people to live with new normal practices and self-control to curb the spread of Covid-19.

  • I'm glad and proud that we as a nation have jointly fought to successfully contain this deadly virus. Our government when we most needed it, rose up to the occasion and saved us from the hellhole conditions that are prevailing in Trumpland. However, I'm apprehensive too because our people are slowly slipping into a false sense of security that everything is back to the pre-Covid days! We have to be always on our guard and follow the SOPs rigorously all of the time. We shouldn't allow the emergence of a potentially devastating second wave.
