FIFTY-FOUR flood victims from 14 families are still sheltering at Dewan Majlis Perbandaran Teluk Intan tonight.

A Perak Disaster Management Committee spokesman, in a statement, said they comprise 15 men, 21 women, 13 boys and five girls.

All were evacuated when floods hit Kg Sg Rambai in Langkap, Teluk Intan, on Thursday.

The spokesman added that a male victim has been admitted to Teluk Intan Hospital.

Despite good weather, the water level in Sg Perak is still higher than normal. – Bernama, June 6, 2020.
