THE enhanced movement control order (EMCO) in Kg Sg Lui, in Hulu Langat, Selangor has been lifted, said senior minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The defence minister, however, said the Maahad Tahfiz An-Nabawiyyah and a house in Kg Batu 23, Sg Lui are still be under the EMCO as there are several Covid-19 cases there.

The EMCO was issued on March 30 for Batu 21 to Batu 24 in Sg Lui after 71 pupils in the local tahfiz were infected with the virus.

Two Orang Asli and five Malay villages with a total of 3,918 residents were under lockdown previously. – April 14, 2020.
