THE country needs an all-encompassing force majeure exemption bill to protect industries from Covid-19’s economic blow, said the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association (Rehda).
Force majeure is a common clause in contracts that essentially frees both parties from liabilities or obligations due to an extraordinary circumstance beyond the control of the said parties.
