Firms must not share consumer data without consent, says Jailani

COMPANIES that keep data on consumers must ensure it is safe and not shared with other parties without consumers’ consent.

Deputy Communications and Multimedia Minister Jailani Johari said this was a security measure to ensure that consumer data was not stolen and misused by irresponsible parties.
