BERSATU chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad this morning arrived at the Yayasan Al-Bukhary building for a meeting with the party’s lawmakers.
The interim prime minister arrived at 9.12am in a Mercedes-Benz.
The meeting, which started at 10am, is believed to be discussing the country’s political crisis, and whether Bersatu will rejoin Pakatan Harapan.
On Monday, the party, which has 26 MPs, announced its exit from the coalition.
There is also speculation that the party will name president Muhyiddin Yassin as its candidate for the post of prime minister. – Bernama, February 28, 2020.
