Najib, Rosmah, Nooryana inspect seized items

FORMER prime minister Najib Razak, wife Rosmah Mansor and daughter Nooryana Najwa today arrived at the Bank Negara to inspect items that were seized during the 1Malaysia Development Berhad investigation.

The Star reported that the family arrived in a black proton at 9.15am.

Najib, was clad in a suit while Rosmah wore a red outfit and Nooryana wore a white blouse and black pants.

A source told The Malaysian Insight that all three left the central bank at about 12.30pm.

No other details were shared by the source about the visit.

It was previously reported that on February 17, the Kuala Lumpur High Court allowed an application by the prosecution in a forfeiture suit against Najib and his family for an extension of time to allow the defendants to examine the items that were seized by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission on May 17, 2018.

Judge Mohamed Zaini Mazlan made the decision after deputy public prosecutor Tengku Amir Tengku Abdul Rahman submitted four dates – February 22, 23 and 29 and March 1 – for Najib and his family to inspect the items. – February 22, 2020.
