THE body of a woman with slash wounds was found in a parking lot in Jalan Merbah, Puchong, last night.

Serdang police chief Asmadi Borhan said the victim, a local believed to be in her 50s, was discovered about 10.30pm by a passer-by, who alerted cops on patrol in the area.

“The body was found near a Toyota Camry, which is believed to be the victim’s.

“The crime scene investigation is ongoing with the help of Selangor police’s forensic team and canine unit. CCTV footage is being looked at,” he said in a statement today.

The body was taken to Serdang Hospital for a post-mortem. – Bernama, February 20, 2020.
