Saifuddin warns against panic buying face masks

THE public is advised not to panic buy face masks in the wake of the novel coronavirus outbreak in China because it could spark unnecessary disquiet, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said today.

According to Saifuddin, the government is ensuring sufficient supplies of face masks to meet elevated demand.
